Good morning everyone,
Long time no see huh? Life's been a bit busy at the moment. School started last month, work, studying on the side, and spending time with friends and family. Figured I'd drop in and keep our minds sharp on what Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) is.
AAA is a framework for network security that's mainly used to control user access in the network.
Authentication - determines if a user is legitimate
Authorization - refers to which users on the network are allowed access to certain portions of data
Accounting - used to gather all activity on the network for each use
That's all for this lesson everyone, hope to chat again soon! :)
